We help growing companies build real AI capability — hiring the right people and building the systems that let them do their best work.

Joe began his career in New Zealand as a software tester, working closely with engineering teams and gaining early exposure to how technology products are built, shipped, and scaled in real environments.
He later moved into tech recruitment, where Joe spent over a decade building networks across engineering, data, and product, working closely with founders and leadership teams on how to hire and scale effectively.
In 2017, Joe co-founded a boutique technology talent agency, where he played a central role in growing the business to approximately $20M in total revenue over its lifetime. During that time, Joe personally generated around $4M in billings across engineering and data placements, while developing long-term partnerships with more than 50 companies across startups, scaleups, and enterprise.
Joe’s role extended well beyond delivery. He led hiring, training, and team development internally, while also overseeing broader business operations and commercial strategy.
In March 2026, Joe completed a successful exit, marking the end of a nine-year chapter as a founder and operator.
Alongside this, Joe has been an active investor in a number of technology companies including Chipper Cash, Mr Yum, Carted, and SEND, with a focus on product-led businesses and the teams behind them.
human builds on Joe’s experience as a founder and operator, combining deep exposure to technical hiring with a practical understanding of how technology is applied inside modern businesses. human focuses on building high-impact AI and product engineering teams, while also helping organisations implement AI workflows, agents, and custom models in a way that delivers real operational value.

We believe great talent should never be overlooked because of poor formatting, weak wording, or missing keywords. CVeeBee exists to bridge the gap between skilled individuals and modern hiring systems by creating resumes that are both recruiter-approved and ATS-friendly.
